The Athenaeum Summer Festival (ASF) throws wide the doors of the Athenaeum to music lovers young and old at the end of June, a moment that coincides with both the close of the concert season and the beginning of the summer holidays.

Classical is Fantastic Festival is a mini-festival that aims to educate young audiences and foster greater access to the arts, via a programme in which music, film, theatre, and dance are combined using original concepts, and which introduce youngsters to all the beauty and complexity of the performing arts. The project runs from January to February and features interactive and educational performances. The project is aimed at children aged seven and older, but events are designed in such a way that the whole family can enjoy the experience together.

Inaugurated in 2022, CellEAST is Romania’s first festival dedicated to the cello. Held every year in May, CellEAST highlights the strengths of this seemingly sober instrument, but which surprises with its ability to adapt to the most diverse musical styles.
